Dr. Kevin R. Kirk
Dr. Kirk graduated from Southern Utah University with academic honors. Afterwards, he went to medical school in Salt Lake City at the University of Utah and then continued on to complete an ophthalmology residency at the University of Rochester in New York. During his tenure as a student and resident, he was actively involved with research and published many academic articles. Dr. Kirk is trained in the latest treatment and surgical techniques for numerous eye conditions.
Dr. Mitchel Anderson
Dr. Mitchel Anderson received his bachelor’s degree from Utah State University. He then attended Midwestern University in Glendale, AZ where he obtained his Doctor of Optometry Degree. He went on to complete a residency in ocular disease and primary care at Santa Fe Indian Hospital. After growing up in Gunnison, Utah, he is excited to return to provide comprehensive vision and eye care in his hometown.
In his free time, he enjoys hiking, camping, playing tennis or pickleball and spending time with his wife and four children.
Dr. Nathan Heyborne
Dr. Nathan Heyborne received his undergraduate degree from Southern Utah University. He continued his training and education at the University of the Incarnate Word Rosenberg School of Optometry in San Antonio, Texas where he graduated as a Doctor of Optometry. He received clinical training at Fort Sam Houston and a private practice gaining experience managing dry eye, glaucoma, macular degeneration and diabetic eye care. Dr. Heyborne offers patients eye and vision care for many conditions as a skilled and licensed optometrist in our Ephraim office.
Katie Brown
Katie Brown lives in Sigurd Ut with her husband; Dalton Brown, and their two dogs: Sterling and Ruby.
She went to Richfield High School and Dixie State University. She served as a Missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Neuquen Argentina. She loves to run, be outdoors, and work on any of her house projects. She has been a technician with Central Utah Eye for two years in November and is excited to see where life takes her.
Ashley Wilder
Ashley Wilder has been working as the biller for Central Utah Eye since July 2020. She earned her Associate of Science from Utah Valley University in 2009 and her CPC from AAPC in 2021. She grew up in Orem, Utah and lived there until 2013 when her family moved to Richfield. When she’s not working or reading she can be found exploring the mountains with her husband and 5 kids.
Josey Harris
Josey started with Central Utah Eye in January 2022 as a catch all employee. She grew up in Idaho and now lives in Richfield with her husband and two little boys. She attended Utah State University and Dixie State University and graduated with her degree and license as a Physical Therapist Assistant. Josey enjoys reading, riding horses and 4-wheelers and being active with her little family.
